Recorded by Fred Ramsey as part of the same sessions that resulted in Michael's "First Songs" LP on Folkways. Pretty psychedelic classics, sad drifty little tunes, harmonica solos & hallicinatory lyrics that can very well put you into some kinda trance. ...After that we get to hear two great compositions for the first time, & man oh man are they pretty - "Hey Hey Hey Hey" & "I Love You Babe".

Real great stuff all around that we recommend for deep into it Hurley fans & newcomers to his art alike. Michael Hurley is a great American song writer with his own unique way of seeing the world & this LP is a great testament to his vision. lejos ha quedado este 2011 de ser uno de tantos años de derovar discos y sellos. este rewind que desde luego no es el soñado, pero que tras la infección colectiva, y sin un sólo disco, es lo más a lo que he llegado. al menos está el regreso del verdadero acid-folk, tras 40 años, de mark fry, el rescate de material perdido del inefable michael hurley, el joven fingerpicking daniel bachman (un favorindo entre los descubrimientos del último año), matt valentine y, como no podía ser de otra forma, cannibal movie.
