en una playa tumbada en la arena, en un paseo en bicicleta, en un documental marino, en un spot televisivo de principio de los ochenta, en el hilo musical de un hotel con ascensores transparentes, en una alfombra espacial, chapoteando en el agua con delfines, buceando entre corales, en un balneario, en un manantial de aguas termales en medio del bosque... en todos estos sitios podría sonar Eddies in the Water, que significa remolinos en al agua. en realidad, para describir esta cinta sólo harían falta tres palabras: relax with nature. un sello en el que sigo descubriendo pequeños tesoros y con el que es fácil rendirse y obsesionarse. y por el que siento un especial cariño y al que siempre he considerado un misterio... de hecho, ya no existe como tal. Eddies in the Water (¿será el propio Jonas Frederiksen?) representa como ningún otro la quintaesencia de su espíritu curativo, una embriagadora oda al agua, a la búsqueda del paraíso, poesía lanzada al viento desde espacios abiertos que buscan el calor de la intimidad. me gusta pensar que Jonas Frederiksen y su sello Relax with Nature es el paradigma de músico que es música, como Josh Burke, Water Lily Jaguar, Dreamers Cloth, Virtually Underwater, The Exhalers, como João y su sello Exo Tapes. música tan fácil de visualizar (circulitos vibrantes que se forman cuando lanzas una piedra al agua) y tan difícil de definir (suaves trances rítmicos en consonancia con Inspired School of Astral Music). lo-fi, muy lo-fi, new age, acuático, abstracto, mágico, ingrávido, oceánico y de un magnetismo estratosférico. Relax with nature... fue muy bonito mientras duró!
